The Mayor, Councilors and the staff of the San Ignacio/ Santa Elena Town Council are dedicated to provide public safety, economic opportunity and excellent public services in an attractive, well planned community for the benefit of all our residence and visitors. We commit to providing prompt and efficient services, with transparency, accountability, honesty, respect and fairness, without prejudice to Gender, Ethnicity, Religious, or Political party affiliation.

To Create a safe, clean, healthy and modern municipality in an environment where our citizens will be afforded equal opportunities and where planned growth and development will take place with the best interests of our community at heart.

Goals & Objective

based on the above-mentioned vision, objectives were formulated in order to strengthen efforts towards sustainable development of the municipality. The following objective are anticipated to be achieved over the next 10 years with the joint effort of central government, non-governmental organization and the private sector.
